Goddess Lakshmi, the Art of Receiving, and the Clarity of Perception
Both Giving and Receiving is recognized firstly with the breath of life as we are in constant communion with the breath and with the breath; each moment we participate with the practice of inhale and exhale. Now, bringing our awareness to this detail invites us into the experience with Goddess Lakshmi for we are participants by mere of the Human birth. The ancient yogic text The Yoga Sutras reminds us of the thread: vastu-sāmye citta-bhedāt tayor vibhaktaḥ panthāḥ.” Which translates as :Though the object may be the same, the experience of it differs according to the state of the mind.
vastu-sāmye citta-bhedāt tayor vibhaktaḥ panthāḥ
Yoga Sutra 4.15
Sanskrit:
vastu-sāmye citta-bhedāt tayor vibhaktaḥ panthāḥ
Translation: Though the object is the same, personal perception and projections differ with every individual person based on state of being, awareness, and depth of spiritual experience.
